Outer Planet will be permanently closing on September 20th, 2025
After ten wonderful years, it's with heavy hearts that we are announcing the permanent closure of Outer Planet Brewing on September 20th, 2025. As previously announced in February, we have spent the last six months searching for new ownership. Unfortunately things did not pan out. With our current lease expiring at the end of September, we've made the difficult decision to shut down operations.
Thank you, Seattle, for the tremendous community support over these past ten years. We close this chapter of our lives with high spirits and no regrets. Crafting classic, unique, and sometimes peculiar beers for our often equally-peculiar patrons has been its own reward so many times over. We'll forever cherish the memories, friendships, and cold pints that we've had the pleasure of making and sharing with Capitol Hill and our many visitors from all over the world.
Please join us during these last few weeks to enjoy a final pint or three, share some laughs, and reminisce about the memories we've made together over the years. We have some fun events planned this month, concluding with a final closing party on September 20th.

Outer Planet started in 2014, when avid homebrewers decided to take the next step and open a brewery. We brew small batch craft beers and serve them in our space inspired taproom in the heart of Capitol Hill. We are dedicated to making the best beer possible, and we are committed to our community and neighborhood.

We are open 7 days a week, and we are family and dog friendly. Indoor and outdoor (covered and heated) seating is available.
We have light snacks available, and you are welcome to bring your own food or order delivery to the taproom.
We regularly partner with local food pop-ups and Morfire Restaurant next door.
