Outer Planet started in 2014, when avid homebrewers decided to take the next step and open a brewery. We brew small batch craft beers and serve them in our space inspired taproom in the heart of Capitol Hill. We are dedicated to making the best beer possible, and we are committed to our community and neighborhood.

Outer Planet Brewing is independently and locally owned and operated. We are a member of the Washington Brewers Guild and the Brewers Association.

Eta Carinae Belgian Witbier

Hypernova DIPA
A dark, rich Belgian Ale (7.5% - 12 IBUs)
LTC English Blonde Ale
A smooth English style Blonde Ale (4.3% - 18 IBUs)
Low Gravitea Cream Ale (cans only)
A collaboration with Logan Brewing, this summer cream ale features hints of Japanese green tea and toasted rice for a light, floral and slightly earthy beer (4.3% - 10 IBUs)
Muscles From Brussels Belgian Golden Strong
A strong, slightly sweet, yet surprisingly easy to drink Belgian Golden Strong Ale (9.3% - 14 IBUs)
Orange Moon Rising Blood Orange Sour

Peregrine Porter

We are open 7 days a week, and we are family and dog friendly. Indoor and outdoor (covered and heated) seating is available.
We have light snacks available, and you are welcome to bring your own food or order delivery to the taproom.
We regularly partner with local food pop-ups and Morfire Restaurant next door.
